Racing Chronographs

We give meaning to speed

Brooklands Watch Company was founded in 2017 by aero-mechanical engineer Simon Jeffs, inspired by the historic track where British motorsport was born and the world's first motor racing chronograph was invented in 1907.

We design and create luxury Swiss-made timepieces that capture the precise moment when potential becomes performance—whether on the racetrack or at the absolute frontiers of speed.

We give meaning to speed by measuring the moments that matter most. When the finish line is crossed, the record broken, or the victory claimed, your Brooklands watch doesn't just stop timing—it starts remembering.

Design by Sir Terence Conran

Each Brooklands timepiece bears the distinctive vision of Sir Terence Conran CBE (1931-2020), the legendary British designer whose revolutionary approach to form and function shaped modern living for decades.

Our Triple-Four Racing Chronograph was the first and only watch Sir Terence ever designed, where his iconic mid-century aesthetic meets precision engineering to create a timepiece that is both beautifully crafted and utterly timeless. In 2024, we were honoured when it was selected for the Design Museum's Permanent Collection and Terence Conran Archive.

Sir Terence's design philosophy will continue to guide every new Brooklands creation, ensuring his distinctive vision of purposeful elegance lives on across our expanding collection.

Spirit by Brooklands

Our watches are born from the spirit of Brooklands,
the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation.

Opened in 1907 as the world's first purpose-built banked racing circuit, Brooklands made history when the first motor racing chronograph—accurate to 1/1,000 of a second—was designed and built there that same year.

The track witnessed World Land Speed Records and hosted the first British Grand Prix in 1926.

Beyond motorsport, Brooklands became legendary for aircraft manufacturing, producing icons from the Hawker Hurricane to Concorde before closing in 1986. Today, this historic circuit lives on as the renowned Brooklands Museum.
